6 Friends ! A Relation that we make in Life

Dear Readers,

Friends have more meaning than anything else in my life today. My 80 % life revolves around them. I still remember my 1st best friends name Kajal and many since then. I really can’t believe my life without them. So I thought of writing about kind of friends and how they change your life in a second.

Different Kind of Friends and how they change your boring life

1- The Loyalist: Sometimes a loyal best friend is the only thing you need to stay sane. Everyone needs a non-judgmental friend who will support them no matter what. This is the kind of friend who lets you be a hot mess and knows all of your deepest and darkest secrets but still loves you all the same.

2- A Work Friend: When we are in a full-time job we spend 50% of our time in working. With that we think about work, working overtime, and furthering your career on your personal time. Depressing, isn’t it? Statistics show that the more isolated you are at work, the more depressed you get. So here comes a work pal. He helps you to feel OK at work. You’ll find it much easier to complain about work with someone who can relate to you than eating lunch alone every day. They just need to be someone you click with on some level, and if you two hit it off exceptionally well, you can always start hanging out with them outside of the office.

3- A Wise Mentor: It is said that “Never look down on someone unless you’re helping them up. Being around such a person will challenge us to better ourselves every day. They never seem to play by the rules. He or she will break the mold, but will always be the friend that will really make a difference in the world. The inspiration motivates you to be yourself, work hard, and be selfless. They work for non-profits, they speak loudly for their causes (with words or actions), and they teach you about the world around you in ways you could never imagine.

4- The Listener: The listener is your sounding board. They know your motivation, your goals, and your life. Listeners are selfless, compassionate, and caring. You text them at 4AM when you don’t know what to do, you have three-hour conversations instead of going to sleep, and they will help you find the answers you are always looking for. They are the one who are always around you in your bad times and make sure that you’re OK.

5- The Risk Taker: We all need an adventurous friend who introduces us to new ideas, philosophies, and activities that we might have otherwise not been exposed to or feared to explore on our own. We live in a big world where there are so many places to see, people to meet, and experiences to be had, yet so many of us are stuck in our own routines and forget to, well, live. We all need an adventurous friend who will pull us out of our shells and introduce us to new ideas, cultures, philosophies, and activities.

6- A Brutally Honest Confidant: They’re certain situations in life where we need to hear the harsh truth and that’s what the brutally honest confidant is for. If you’re in a relationship and everyone’s telling you that it’s perfectly normal that you’re back with that special someone for the 3rd time in the last 2 years, the brutally honest confidant is there to yank your rose-colored glasses off and tell you, “Enough. Stop with all that break-up-and-get-back-together drama. You deserve better.” Friends are supposed, to be honest with each other. If you find someone who is brutally honest with you (in a constructive way), then hold on to this person! People like that are hard to come by these days.

Life is boring if you don’t have these people around you!! So enjoy!!
