It’s ok to be different !!

Standard

Dear Readers,

We always wonder, “Why do we get a different reaction when we do things differently?” All these judgmental questions suddenly pop out on us with a big question mark. I feel we should pass on a very important message to all these people around us that, it’s ok to be different, that it is good to be different, and that we should question ourselves before we pass judgment on someone who looks different, behave differently, talks different, thinks different and is of a different religion. I believe, only a dead fish goes with the flow.

Being different is not the bad thing. It means you are brave enough to be yourself. Some people may put you down for being different and try to make you live by society standards but deep down they wish they has the courage to be the same. Why fit in when you are born to stand out? It’s ok to be unique, it’s ok to be weird and it’s ok to stand out. I always say, “There are two kinds of people in the world, you and everyone else”. Never change for others in your life. We were born to be our original, don’t become copies of others.

I am sure all of us have learned this lesson in life, “Its ok for us to be kind of ourselves. It’s ok to be wrong. It’s ok to get mad. It’s ok to be flawed. It’s ok to be happy and it’s ok to move on in life. It’s ok not to be perfect”. We should never forget that the thing that makes us different is the thing that makes us. Sometimes it’s also ok to stop in life and ask for direction. Be good to yourself. Everything else will find you later. It’s ok to be selfish sometimes if growth is the drive and don’t forget that ever in life. We are in a world where many people fear and struggle to be themselves and its ok to be you. Sometimes it is good to remind ourselves that we don’t have to think the way everyone else is thinking around us.

It’s ok to be afraid, but it’s not ok to let the fear stop you to be doing what you’re born to do.

Regards,
